Do you have recommendations for storing self adhesive labels?
Yes, we recommend that the labels should be stored within a temperature range of 10°C to 25°, and a relative humidity level of 35-65% and not exposed to direct sunlight.
Can you supply Self Adhesive Labels made with Recycled Paper?
Yes we can, but we do not currently make any of our stock products using recycled paper – the main reason simply being cost. However, it should be noted that all papers used come from FSC approved (sustainable) sources.
Are different adhesives available?
We can produce labels using a variety of different adhesives such as a peelable adhesive where the label can be removed and re-applied once it has been stuck to something, or a permanent adhesive where the label will adhere permanently to most surfaces, or a specialist adhesive such as a freezer grade adhesive where the surfaces or conditions involved require it. There is no need to moisten any of the labels for them to stick, they are all self-adhesive. We can supply samples of different adhesives, so please satisfy yourself as to their suitability for your particular application.
What are your standard cutters?
We have an extensive range of cutters which is added to each week. Please contact us to discuss your label size. We can generally supply cost effective bespoke cutters to meet most requirements.
Ordering & Payment Methods
If I need my labels urgently do you offer any premium services?
Normally we would expect to deliver an order within 5-7 working days , we can however offer an express service for business customers who need their custom made labels very urgently.
Do you have a catalogue or a standard price list?
No. Because of the personalised nature of label printing with its vast array of potential combinations of designs, colours, materials, adhesives and sizes it's not really feasible to publish a price list. Instead we prefer to work with our clients to select the optimum combination of materials and print effects to cost effectively solve their labelling needs.
We are particularly comfortable working with companies who are not familiar with labelling, and may be looking to purchase labels for the first time.
Our website displays examples of some of our previous work , but as the majority of our business is custom printed self adhesive labels the very nature of our work means that our products are bespoke and can not be sold via a catalogue. We can however, on request, supply comprehensive free sample packs showing examples of our work.
Is it possible to open a credit account?
Yes it is but we only offer this facility for regular orders of greater than £500 + VAT. Contact us for an account application form. We always request pro-forma payment for the first job from new business customers to establish good faith. Please note that credit facilities will be withdrawn if terms are not strictly adhered to and we reserve the right to apply the interest charges permitted under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 to balances outstanding after 30 days.
Can I order my labels from overseas?
Yes, we supply labels to several different countries and don't charge any extra for overseas orders apart from carriage which is charged at cost. We don't think its good business practice to make a profit on freight charges.
I have an EU VAT registered business, do I have to pay UK VAT on my order?
No you don't – during the order process if you provide your VAT registration number which, once successfully validated, will remove VAT from all transactions on your account.
Is VAT included in the price?
No, all our quotations exclude VAT.
Do you have a minimum order charge?
Yes, because we specialise in short run labelling, we are able to keep our minimum order value down to just £150 which includes your labels, artwork, cutters and carriage, but excludes vat.
Can I pay by PayPal, VISA or MasterCard ?
Yes, we accept payment by PayPal, debit cards and VISA and MasterCard credit cards. Many customers pay over the telephone so please call us and we can take payment by card.
If I wish to order after I have been quoted, what is the next stage?
Please confirm your order with us in writing or by email and we will process your order. If required, we can design your artwork and submit it to you before manufacture for approval. Once you have signed your artwork approval form, then we will process your order and deliver it to your nominated delivery address.
Despatch & Delivery
How are goods despatched?
Samples are sent by First Class post. Boxes are sent on a next day consigned service by courier (Monday to Friday only, Saturday delivery available at extra cost). Larger consignments are sent on a next day Pallet Service.
Does your Pallet Service offer a tail-lift or handballing service?
If you are a UK Mainland customer and require the delivery vehicle to have a tail-lift or for the goods to be handballed, please indicate your requirements when placing your order. If you are an Overseas customer, these facilities may be available, but please check with us prior to placing your order.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver worldwide. Most of our customers are in the UK, but we have a large customer base in the Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe.
Do you charge for delivery?
Our prices include delivery to a UK mainland address. Delivery to a location outside of the mainland UK will incur a delivery charge which will be advised prior to order.

How do you want to receive the artwork?
We can receive artwork in a variety of file types. Please follow our artwork instructions when sending us your artwork.
Are there any origination charges involved in digital label printing?
No, digital printing does not require printing plates but dependent upon your label design, a new cutter may have to be made.
